Subscription Terms

Tahara Reminders is offered as a monthly subscription at $3.99 per month, following a free first month trial. Your subscription is billed monthly and renews automatically until cancelled. There are no annual contracts, setup fees, or hidden charges.

Service Description

Tahara Reminders is an automated phone and SMS reminder service designed to assist Jewish women in observing Taharat HaMishpacha (Jewish family purity laws). The service provides reminders for:

• Vest days (Onah Beinonis, Yom HaChodesh, Haflagah)
• Bedikah (morning and evening reminders during the seven clean days)
• Hefsek Taharah
• Mikvah preparation

Halachic Disclaimer

The calculations and reminders provided by Tahara Reminders are intended as a practical tool to assist in Taharat HaMishpacha observance. This service is not a substitute for rabbinical guidance. Users should consult their own rabbi or yoetzet halacha for all halachic questions specific to their personal situation.

Tahara Reminders makes every effort to provide accurate calculations based on established halachic methods, but accepts no halachic responsibility for individual observance decisions.

SMS Communications

Tahara Reminders provides SMS text message and voice call reminders as a core part of its service. By providing your phone number and registering through our sign-up line, you agree to receive reminders for vest days, bedikah, and other halachic dates you are subscribed to receive.

• Program Description: Tahara Reminders sends scheduled SMS and voice call reminders for vest days, bedikah, Hefsek Taharah, and mikvah preparation based on the halachic cycle dates you record. Messages are only sent to registered subscribers who have explicitly opted in.
• Message Frequency: Message frequency varies based on your halachic cycle. You control your reminder preferences and can update them at any time via phone.
• Rates: Message and data rates may apply depending on your carrier and plan. Please contact your wireless provider if you have questions about your plan.
• Opt-Out: You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. You will receive a one-time confirmation and no further SMS messages will be sent to your number.
• Re-Subscribe: To start receiving messages again, reply START or call our sign-up line.
• Help: For assistance, reply HELP to any message or contact us at support@taharareminders.com or 929-222-6118.
• No Condition of Purchase: Consent to receive SMS messages is never required as a condition of purchase or use of our services.
• Third Parties: SMS opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
• Carriers: Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Acceptable Use

The service is intended for personal use by individual subscribers. Each account corresponds to one user. Sharing account credentials is not permitted.

Cancellation Policy

You may cancel your subscription at any time with no penalty:

Cancellations take effect at the end of your current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial months already billed.

Service Availability & Accuracy of Information

We strive to maintain 24/7 automated service availability. The information and services available through Tahara Reminders may occasionally include technical inaccuracies. We are not liable for missed reminders due to carrier delays, network outages, or other factors outside our control.

Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitation of Liability

INFORMATION AND SERVICES OFFERED BY TAHARA REMINDERS ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT ANY EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. IN NO EVENT WILL TAHARA REMINDERS BE LIABLE TO ANY PARTY FOR ANY DAMAGES OF ANY KIND, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO DIRECT, INDIRECT, SPECIAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF THE USE OR INABILITY TO USE THIS SERVICE, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOST PROFITS, LOSS OF USE, OR OTHER ECONOMIC LOSSES, WHETHER IN AN ACTION OF CONTRACT, NEGLIGENCE OR OTHER TORTIOUS ACTION, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
